Divine Exchange - Dikhotomy

Christ stands in the sea in a golden light with one arm lowered, holding out an orange Louis Vuitton shopping bag, and a man half-submerged below reaches up with a VISA card between his fingers. The sky is painted in the warm clouds and rays of a nineteenth-century religious picture, and the water is green and churning.

Made as a digital collage, a religious painting with two present-day objects set into the gesture. Dikhotomy is the project of Nando López, a Barcelona-based artist who blends digital illustration, collage and pop art. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
