Son, this is the Universe - Fran Rodriguez

A woman in a red shirt and a small child stand together in a field of golden grass, facing a tall black rectangle filled with stars that stands upright in front of them. A red ball lies in the grass at their feet, a dark treeline runs along the horizon, and a few birds cross the pale clouded sky.

Built as a digital collage, with a photographed meadow and sky cut around a window onto deep space. Fran Rodriguez, who works as lacabezaenlasnubes, is a Spanish digital artist known for images of humanity's place in the universe, and has worked with bands including Weezer, Tame Impala and Tycho. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
