Otoño - carlos enrique gozalo ara

A dense decorative landscape fills the sheet: a large blue eye is set into a tall standing form at the left, bare trees spread rust and blue branches across the middle, and hills, fields and water lie behind them in flat outlined shapes. The colour runs through teal, violet, ochre and pale yellow, and almost every shape carries its own pattern.

Drawn in outline and filled with flat colour and close pattern, so the landscape reads as a surface before it reads as depth. Carlos Enrique Gozalo Ara was born in Madrid in 1964 and has worked as a painter since 1987, exhibiting in Madrid, Barcelona and Marseille. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
