Draco - carlos enrique gozalo ara

A dark creature's face with open jaws sits at the centre of the sheet, surrounded by patterned forms in orange, pink and grey that curl around it like scales and wings. The right third of the picture breaks into a mosaic of small squares in blue, green and black, as if the image were coming apart there.

Drawn and painted and then worked digitally, with one part of the surface broken into mosaic blocks. Carlos Enrique Gozalo Ara was born in Madrid in 1964 and has worked as a painter since 1987, exhibiting in Madrid, Barcelona and Marseille. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
