Sirius 33 - Priit Ruttas

Black crayon scribble covers the sheet from edge to edge in overlapping loops and strokes, the line crossing itself again and again. The marks gather into denser bands across the middle and thin out at the top and the lower left, where the white of the paper comes through. A small arrow sits near the lower right edge, and nothing else in the field settles into a figure.

Drawn in black crayon on white paper, built up from layer upon layer of short overlapping strokes. Priit Ruttas draws to find new space, levels and dimensions in a picture, so that the eye keeps discovering something further each time it looks. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
