Neatly Wrapped - Kareem Rizk

Layers of aged paper — graph paper, ledger columns, printed numbers, a strip of red capitals — build up across the sheet in cream, buff and pale green. At the bottom right a dark teal moulded chair on steel legs stands beside a small wooden side table, cut from a furniture catalogue. A line of type runs upside down above them: neatly wrapped to stay.

Built from cut and torn paper, reproduced here at high resolution. Kareem Rizk is an Australian collage and mixed media artist living and working in Denmark, with a background in graphic design and an affinity for typography and re-purposed printed ephemera. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
