Mobility in Sight - Priit Ruttas

Fine black pen lines run across a white sheet in short bursts, gathering into darker vertical blocks and thinning out again between them. There is no single figure to settle on, so the eye keeps travelling along the rhythm of the marks, finding denser and looser passages as it goes.

Drawn in ink on white paper, built up in short repeated strokes with no underdrawing beneath them. Priit Ruttas draws to find new space, levels and dimensions in a picture, so that the eye keeps discovering something further each time it looks. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
