Frozen Light - Anna Dormir

A broad band of deep navy and near-black ink cuts diagonally across a white ground, breaking into ragged folds along its length. Warm cream and pale gold pool at the upper and lower edges, and the darkest passages carry a scatter of fine silver grain.

Painted in liquid alcohol ink on a smooth white ground, where the colour spreads in translucent layers and dries with hard, feathered edges. Anna Dormir is a contemporary abstract artist based in Barcelona, who works mainly with liquid inks and in large formats to explore colour, form and movement. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
