Sunset at the Lakeside Dock - Bora Kőhalmi mAndalír

A weathered wooden dock runs in from the bottom right corner over the calm water of Lake Balaton. The sun sits low behind a sky of small scattered clouds and lays a narrow silver path on the water, a sailboat rests on the horizon, and reeds stand dark against the light on the right.

The work is a photograph taken outdoors in natural light. Bora Kőhalmi lives and photographs beside Lake Balaton in Hungary, drawn to atmospheric images layered with meaning, mystery and hidden detail. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
