Abstract in perfection - Walter Zettl

Sweeping curves of red, violet, white and lime green whirl across a dark ground, with streaks of orange and yellow burning through underneath. The glossy paint forms arcs and blades that overlap like petals or flames, catching bright white highlights along their edges.

Worked with brush and palette knife in intense colour, so the movement of the paint stays visible. Walter Zettl has shown his work in New York, Shanghai and Stuttgart and at the Hong Art Museum in Chongqing. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
